On May 19th, we celebrated Head Start's 55th anniversary! From its roots in the Civil Rights Movement, through economic ups and downs, and the worst of natural disasters, Head Start has been a pillar in communities across the country.
We are grateful that we have a HeadStart Program in the building and look forward to continuing to work together to support and better our community.
...is to be and make disciples of Jesus Christ so that we are able to love and serve our community and world through ministries that transform lives, build strong individuals and families.
ABOUT OUR CHURCH
While United Methodist's are uniform in faith, there can be a variety of approaches to how we walk out our faith. In this section, you'll learn more about what Community United Methodist's believe and how we go about living the life of disciple's of Jesus Christ.
Whether you prefer a more traditional approach or the more contemporary music you hear on the radio, Community United Methodist Church strives to meet the needs of the community in their preferred method of worship. Not only in song, but also in preaching the Word.
Jesus called His disciples to go and make disciples. Not only do we have small group Bible discussions and gatherings to do this, we also provide opportunities to go into our neighborhoods to share the love and truth of who Jesus is and serve others in His name.
