Weekend Food Packs:

We raise money for 18 HeadStart students food packs ($205 per student) for the whole year.

What is weekend Food Packs?

Each Friday, children are sent home with a nondescript bag filled with non-perishable, child friendly, nutritious food for the weekend & during long school breaks (Spring Break & Christmas Break).

HeadStart is always looking for volunteers with their program. If you would like to help please contact Robbie at rleaton@nic.edu for more information or how you can help.

**They always need people to read to the kids, contact Robbie to get involved.

After 3 days of shopping for just the right school supplies, Alice and Jim Deshazer, joined by Dave Jacobson, Joyce Kollaja and Head Start's Robbie Eaton, sorted and assembled 23 siblings' school supply bags that will be passed out to the families by the Head Start staff just in time for the start of school!
