Worship Services
Worship is at the center of who we are and what we do at Community United Methodist Church. God the Father and Jesus Christ bring us together and bind us in ways of worship, service, and praise.
Music is a strength at CUMC. We are invitational and inclusive in our vocal and instrumental choirs.
9 a.m. Worship
During this service, you can expect to enjoy a more traditional Methodist approach to worship. We utilize our pipe organ, which is more than 100 years old and worship from hymns. We also participate in the traditional liturgy and provide adult and youth (6th-12th grade) Sunday school.

10:30 a.m. Worship
Our later service has a more informal approach to worship that includes a worship band and some of the more contemporary music you're familiar with from Christian radio stations. There are additional musical performances at this service as well as the expected sermon.

Per Bishop Elaine JW Stanovsky there will be
no worship THIS Sunday, March 15
or next Sunday, March 22.
"Consistent with the directives and recommendations issued by Oregon Governor Brown and Washington Governor Inslee and recognizing that persons over 60 or who have compromising health conditions are advised not to attend gatherings of more than 10 people, I am directing the local churches of any size and other ministries in the states of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington to suspend in-person worship and other gatherings of more than 10 people for the next two weeks, starting today. Your conference leaders and I will assess unfolding events and update this directive as appropriate, but no later than March 24, before Palm Sunday and Holy Week."
