Music Ministry at Community UMC

"Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth.
Serve the LORD with gladness;
come into his presence with singing." (Psalm 100:1)

Community United Methodist Church has a long history of blessing our community with sacred music.
Our Sunday morning worship service celebrates the variety of musical gifts in our body, ranging from traditional hymns to modern and contemporary praise music. We believe that anyone can make a joyful noise to God!  Our music ministry is open to all, regardless of skill or experience. If you would like to learn more, contact Minister of Music Bill Jaquette.

Vocal Choir

Do you like to sing? Have you ever wanted to sing in a choir? The Vocal Choir is a group of volunteer singers who help lead worship several times a month. They rehearse Wednesdays at 5:30pm under the direction of the Minister of Music. Anyone who loves to sing is invited to join regardless of music reading ability or prior experience.

Bell Choir

Do you like to ring handbells? Would you like to learn? Community UMC is blessed with a five-octave set of handbells. Anyone is welcome to ring! The Bell Choir rehearses on Tuesdays at 5:30pm under the direction of the Minister of Music. Ability to read music or knowledge of handbells is not necessary to participate.
